The Micro Business Information Point

Resources to help you accelerate your learning...

In collaboration with Westminster Reference Libraries, Hub Westminster is excited and proud to offer members access to our Micro Business Information Point (BIP).

The BIP consists of a physical Library, which has been crowd-sourced through our membership and therefore represents a wide range of approaches to business; from crowd-funding and innovation management to micro-manufacturing and online community management. The Library is situated at the back of the WikiHouse and is reference only.

The other aspect of the BIP is the online 24/7 Library, which can be accessed via the two terminals situated in the Studio Café next to the Innovation Greenhouse. As a member, you have access to myriads of online resources including COBRA, Datamonitor, Kompass, Naxos music library and myriads of international periodicals, newspapers and encyclopaedias. If you also join Westminster Libraries (free to join) , with a Library membership card you get access to the 24/7 Library remotely, available anywhere you can reach the Internet.

Trained Librarians from Westminster Reference Library offer free training sessions on how to use the Business Information Point and will give you one-to-one advice as to how to access the resources you need. Check our events page for monthly updates.

Lastly, we have also subscribed to a number of physical journals and periodicals relevant to our membership, including GOOD, the Economist, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Intelligent Life, Positive News and WIRED. You can read these in the Studio Café, but are reference only. Old issues can be found in the Library.
